Black rhinos, diceros bicornis, part of rhinocerotidae family.
The black rhinos are critically endangered there are only 5,500 individuals
left and the population is increasing.
The black rhinos have a lifespan of 35 to 50 years.
They live grasslands, savannahs, tropical bushes of Africa.
They can adapt using their thick skin to protect them from sharp grasses.
As well they have horns for defense.
Black rhinos are herbivores, they browse for leaves, flowers, buds, fruits, berries, and roots.
