Green Turtle

Green turtle, chelonia mydas, part of the modern sea turtles family.
They are very endangered and they have a population of 85,000 to 90,000 nesting females.
They have a lifespan of 60 to 70 years.
Green turtles live in tropical and subtropical waters.
Green turtles have paddle-like flippers to help maintain their speed while swimming.
Green turtles are herbivores and they eat sea grasses and algae.
