The Eastern Lowland Gorilla, Gorilla Beringei Graueri, part of the Great Apes family and
they are critically endangered.
There are only 4,000 left in the world, as of 2020.
They have a lifespan of 30 to 40 years.
They live in lowland tropical rainforests of
the Eastern Democratic Republican of Congo.
They have flat teeth to allow them to grind the plants they eat.
The Eastern Lowland Gorillas are herbivores and they mainly eat leaves, fruits stems, bark,
and at least 1044 species of plants.
