They are critically endangered and has no more than 10 individuals left.
Vaquitas have a lifespan of 21 years.
They are found in the Gulf of California,
in murky waters that are 30 to 90 feet deep and 16 miles of shoreline.
They have adapted to warmer waters and have larger and taller fins.
Vaquitas are cornivores that feed on crabs, squids, and small, bottom-dwelling fish.
