Mountain Gorilla

Mountain gorilla, gorilla beringei beringei, part of the great apes family.
Mountain gorillas are critically endangered, they have a population of 880 individuals left.
They have a lifespan of 40 to 50 years.
They live in forests high in mountains of east-central Africa.
Their long hair can keep them warm at living at high altituude.
Mountain gorillas are herbivores, they eat roots, shoots, fruit, wild celery, tree bark, and pulps.
