The Javan Rhino, Rhinoceros sondaicus, part of the rhinoceros family are critically endangered.
There are only around 60 individuals left in the wild, as of 2020.
The Javan Rhino has a lifespan of 30-50 years.
They live in tropical forests, subtropical moist forests, and dense rain forests.
Right now they live in Ujung Kulon National Park located in Java, Indonesia.
They have a prehensile upper lip uses it to pick up things and get food and they use mud wallows
and shallow pits to help keep off flies and heat.
Javan rhinos are herbivorous, they eat shoots, twigs, and fallen fruit.
